*We are not yet able to accept regular floral donations. However, you are welcome to review the information below for when our nonprofit opens its doors.*
Your wedding flowers are a glorious part of your memorable day, and Random Acts of Flowers (RAF) is grateful to you for considering paying your love forward by donating your flowers! People in our community who are struggling with injury, illness, or loneliness will be uplifted knowing that two people in love chose to include them in their special day.
RAF will work with you to ensure that your flowers are re-purposed into individual arrangements and delivered to patients in a nearby hospital or nursing home. To begin the process of delivering hope and healing through your flowers, please complete RAF’s wedding inquiry form* and a member of our team will be in touch to assist you. Please note that RAF can only coordinate, receive and / or pick-up flowers from public venues during business hours: (TBD, once site is open).
* PLEASE NOTE – RAF receives many requests and unfortunately cannot accommodate all. Completing the inquiry form does not guarantee that we will be able to pick-up your flowers, but we will do our best!
A GLANCE AT THE PROCESS (ONCE OUR DOORS ARE OPEN)
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
- RAF will work with you to finalize pick-up details, which includes the completion of our floral donation and agreement forms that must be finalized no less than two weeks prior to pick up
- If you are able to drop off your flowers at the RAF location that would be so appreciated! If not, RAF will pick up flowers from the venue or florist at a designated time following the event. Please note our business hours (TBD, once site is open).
- RAF volunteers will deconstruct all arrangements, composting any unusable stems and disposing of ribbons, pins, foam, etc. in the most eco-friendly way
- Re-purposed bouquets will be hand-delivered to patients in an area healthcare facility within 48 hours
If you would like to move forward with donating your flowers to RAF to be repurposed into new bouquets, please complete the below inquiry form. An RAF representative will follow up to discuss next steps and further details.
