It’s been a busy summer here at our Knoxville workshop, and – thanks to the support of our volunteers, donors, and friends like you – we’ve made thousands of deliveries to people in East Tennessee! We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so glad that you’re part of the RAF Knoxville family!

A FOND FAREWELL AND A WARM WELCOME

This week, we bid a fond farewell to Program Manager Emma Hayes! She has been a vibrant, dedicated, and generous member of our team from her first day. We will all miss her can-do spirit, hard work, energy, and great ideas! We send our best wishes as she moves across the country and into married life!!

Cyndi Dodson will be taking on the role of Program Manager, and she has jumped into her first week in the workshop with enthusiasm. Cyndi has a long professional history in nonprofit and education, and we are excited that she is joining the RAF Knoxville team! Be sure to say “hi” to her the next time you pay us a visit!

FLOWERS AFTER HOURS

August 29, 2019

$45 per person, includes container, flowers, and instruction.

Emily Campen from The Flower Pot will return to our workshop to instruct participants in a hands-on demonstration of basic floral design. Each attendee will produce a floral arrangement they will take with them and a second arrangement that will be delivered to an ill or elderly member of our community, adding enrichment to RAF’s mission of delivering hope and kindness.

Coffee, water, and light appetizers will be provided.
BYOB for participants 21 and over.
